1. High-quality camera

2. Lighting
For beginners, we recommend something like a ring light. Ring lights can be purchased for as low as $15 and provide a nice even light on your face. You’d be amazed at how much good lighting can improve the look of your video.
3. Microphone
Now I know your phone, tablet, computer or camera comes with a built-in microphone…but they’re usually not that great. And, if your recording device is across the room, you might end up sounding really far away…which is how you can usually tell an amateur video from a more professional one. We recommend purchasing a lavalier microphone that plugs directly into your recording device. The microphone part clips right onto your clothes and picks up your voice clearly.
